Jill Bridger started the school in 1988 in Cambridge and has seen it grow from 30 children at the Cambridge Drama Centre to over 650 students.
Jill is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and National Association of Teachers of Dance.

Jo Turner joined our offices in May 2010 and her assistance with both our Melody Movement Early Learning projects and busy school events has been invaluable. Jo also coordinates our chaperones and parent volunteers at our school shows. More recently Jo has taken on the uniform side of our school and all uniform enquiries and orders can be emailed to Jo directly at Jo@melodymovement.com

Bernadette Lemon is heading back to her roots! Bernadette was a student at Jill Bridger school of dance from the early age of 3 right up to 16 when she moved onto vocational training at Masters Performing Arts College. In addition to teaching our Melody Bear classes, Bernadette teaches our RAD grades, Ballet Extra and Vocational Focus Sessions. She also choreographsthe school’s TEAM JB routines.

Emma Louise Campbell has a wealth of experience to share having gained at BA (hons) Dance and Professional Practice and a Postgraduate Masters in Dance Making and Performance. In addition to teaching Melody Bear and our RAD ballet classes, Emma Louise teaches our Combo and modern & tap classes.

Rachel Bye brings a wealth of experience in dance and drama to our Saturday Melody Bear classes at the Cambourne Church Annexe. Rachel is a familiar face in the Cambridge dance world and following her training at local dance schools went on to study ISTD ballet, tap & modern, American Tap, Contemporary and LAMDA Drama and singing at the Performers College
