Creator of Melody Bear and Melody Movement Early Learning
Jill Bridger started the school in 1988 in Cambridge and has seen it grow from 30 children at the Cambridge Drama Centre to over 650 students.
Jill is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and National Association of Teachers of Dance.
Her creation, Melody Bear, is now taught and enjoyed by 450 teachers across the UK and oversea. Visit www.melodymovement.com for further details.
Stephanie Evans teaches our ISTD modern and tap grades. Stephanie’s classes also include opportunities for students to do a variety of dance styles including street and body conditioning. Stephanie is also involved in choreographing our TEAM JB routines. Stephanie also teachers our popular Musical Theatre class on Saturdays.

Helen Ellis joined our team in 2011 and is a trained Melody Movement teacher. Helen is also a singing teachers and joins Stephanie to teach singing at our Musical Theatre classes.
Jo Turner joined our offices in May 2010 and her assistance with both our Melody Movement Early Learning projects and busy school events has been invaluable.

Holli Grice is a former students of the school who returned to teach for us in 2017. Holli has many skills to share having trained as an Acting Coach and fitness instructor as well as gaining a BTEC Diploma is Musical Theatre.
Bernadette Lemon is heading back to her roots! Bernadette was a student at Jill Bridger school of dance from the early age of 3 right up to 16 when she moved onto vocational training at Masters Performing Arts College. Bernadette is choreographing the school’s TEAM JB classical routines as well as teaching our Melody Bear and ballet classes at many of our venues.
Cheryl Radford is our school administrator who joined our team in 2014. Cheryl is students’ parents point of contact at our busy Melody Bear offices and she can be contacted directly by phone or email email@example.com
Emma Louise Campbell has a wealth of experience to share having gained at BA (hons) Dance and Professional Practice and a Postgraduate Masters in Dance Making and Performance. In addition to teaching Melody Bear and ballet classes, Emma Louise teaches our combination modern & tap classes.

Meaghan Gates our new Melody Bear HQ Friday teacher and we are delighted to welcome her to the Jill Bridger School of Dance.
Fleur Dear is our Melody Bear Teaching Assistant working alongside Holli on Saturday mornings at the Melody Bear HQ. Fleur is a familiar face at the school having been a student assistant for many years. She has completed all levels of the MMEL Student Assistant Development Programme and has started her Associate training.
Glenn Nairn is the Melody Bear HQ accounts and staff administrator and Jill’s assistant. Glenn has been with the team for many years and her knowledge of the office workings keep all the ‘cogs’ moving.
