Karen teaches our Modern Jazz and Tap classes for schools years 1 to 6 at Carmbourne. Karen also be assists

Jill on Wednesdays at Cambourne as receptionist and studio assistant.   Karen has also joined our team of office staff at the Melody Bear HQ as our class coordinator and sales manager.

Glenn is the School Secretary and Administrator and is kept very busy organising the school database, festival and exam timetables, invoice system, show details and circulars.  

 

Glenn is also the Office Manager at our Melody Bear headquarters in St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Jill Bridger, Principal

RAD ISTD NATD

Jill Bridger started the school in 1988 in Cambridge and has seen it grow from 30 children at the Drama Centre to nearly 500 students.

 

Jill is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and National Association of Teachers of Dance.

 

Her creation, Melody Bear, is now taught and enjoyed by 350 teachers across the UK and oversea.  Visit www.melodymovement.com for further details.

Stephanie Holden  teaches our ISTD modern and tap grades at our Hardwick branch.   Stephanie will also be introducing opportunities for students to do a variety of dance styles including jazz, Hip Hop, as well as  limbering and  body conditioning sessions.

Nicola Phillips is our  adult tap teacher.  Nicola is an ex-student of the school who has also taught many grade classes in addition to choreographing past show and festival routines.

 

Nicola Evans-Bailey is our trainee teacher working along side Jill on Saturdays.

Staff

We are delighted to announce that Kirsty  Good will be joining our team of teachers in September to teacher Melody Movement, ballet grades, technique and pointe ballet.  Kirst is an experienced teacher who also teaches at Performers College - the full time performing arts college.

Recruitment:  Due to the demand for our Melody Movement pre-school dance classes, we are looking for high quality, enthusiastic and inspirational people to join our team and teach new Melody Movement classes scheduled to open in the Cambridgeshire area.
